History:The building was acquired in 2002 by the Consell de Mallorca with the purpose of disseminating the figure and work of Father Ginard, and in 2015 a thorough museographic renovation was carried out to convert the space into the Casa Pare Ginard-Museu de la Paraula. The museum collection of the centre is not physical, but intangible heritage: songs, glosses, coladas, romances and other texts traditionally transmitted orally.

Fixed Activities:In autumn, the TardOral cycle is held with conferences, shows, routes and other initiatives related to orality. Educational activities are also held in schools and cultural centres. In summer, the summer cycle La Lluna en Vers.
