Others:Since 1990, the Kronoberg Storytelling Network has annually awarded the Mickel Prize to an individual who "has meritoriously worked to spread knowledge of and interest in the tradition of storytelling and its fairy tales and legends." The prize consists of a work of art and a sum of SEK 2,000. The award is named after the storyteller Mickel en Långhult (1778–1860).
