The meetings and activities scheduled for the presentation of projects of the Network of Storytelling Sites and Towns (ENSST) in Bratislava have been very well welcomed and well supported. The whole programme of events and meetings has been carried out with success and a warm and friendly welcome from the host Comenius University, one of the partners of this European project.

On Wednesday morning, the Storytelling Sites and Towns Database was presented, coordinated by the Guadalajara Library as a collaborator entity of ENSST, which has been developed during the implementation of this European project of the same name. The network's website was also launched.

The Vice-Rector for External Relations of the Comenius University, Radomyr Masaryk, together with the Head of the Department of Romance Languages of the Faculty of Arts, Bohdan Ulasin, greeted the representatives of the ENSST network and the European storytellers who attended on Thursday. The vice-chancellor informed the network of the possibility that the Comenius University could become a partner of the association that was created as a result of this European project, financed by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).

The performance of the storytelling show created by the ENSST network as a result of the creative residency, held in Sigüenza last spring, attracted a wide audience.

During the presentation of the show "Il était una vez jeden utopická viaggio a történeteken keresztül em seis línguas" (Once upon a time a utopian journey through stories in six languages)", Blanca Calvo, director of the project, highlighted the ability of humans to unite through stories. In addition, Calvo explained that "we all agree that this European project has provided a great opportunity to work to break down the language barrier in oral storytelling, and it has been a success".

The performance at the University was attended by academic authorities and many students of Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese philology, as well as the heads of the Cervantes Institute and the French Institute in Bratislava. Afterwards, a small reception was held with the participation of the group of narrators, authorities, students and representatives of the ENSST.

The European Network Storytelling Sites and Towns (ENST), managed by the Seminario de Literatura Juvenil de Guadalajara, has as partners the Comenius University of Bratislava (Slovakia), Maison du Conte de Chevilly-Larue (France) and Fondazione per Leggere (Italy).
